Tennis tournament in Saskatoon

Filip Peliwo won the men’s singles title at the Houghton Boston Tennis Classic on Sunday. The Vancouver native defeated Marcos Giron of Thousand Oaks, Calif. 7-6(7), 6-7(5), 6-1 in the final. Peliwo won the 2012 junior Wimbledon and U.S. Opens, and was the first Canadian to be ranked No. 1 in the combined junior world rankings that same year.
