Tank: Total cost of Saskatoon's south downtown remains elusive

A 1989 mayor’s task force recommended forming a south downtown development board to govern the reshaping of this key part of Saskatoon.
Nearly two decades later, city council voted to establish an independent non-profit corporation to govern River Landing. The corporation would have operated like TCU Place and SaskTel Centre and would have been run by a board appointed by council.
