Tank: Six Saskatoon councillors buck trend on campaign financing

Saskatoon residents may have checked their calendars to make sure it’s 2018 after hearing city council voted down a ban on union and corporate campaign contributions.
Last week’s vote marked the second time in just over two years that council has rejected halting the unpopular practice of allowing business and union money to influence elections.
