Tank: Saskatoon city hall's eternal conflict resumes today
Saskatoon city council faces a tough task starting today.
As the 2018 preliminary budget is released at city hall, residents have clearly already been advising them.
That advice probably starts with keeping the property tax increase as low as possible. Nobody wants services reduced either, so don’t reduce hours at the pools or stop fixing potholes.
Then comes the eternal conflict: Don’t hire too many new employees, but quit lining the pockets of so many consultants.
