Tank: Saskatoon city hall's efforts to gather input fail to impress

Many democratic governments struggle with how to consult with voters and Saskatoon city hall appears to be no different.
A poll conducted last summer on behalf of the City of Saskatoon found about half of Saskatoon residents surveyed think city hall does not do enough to get public input on decisions.
The question itself is steeped in irony since a city-wide poll, like the one commissioned annually by city hall, shows at least a willingness to consult.
