Tank: Is there a better way than a 16-hour city council meeting?

At one point on Tuesday, Coun. Sarina Gersher left the second day of last week’s city council meeting/endurance test just as Coun. Troy Davies returned.
“Thank you, Coun. Davies, for saving quorum,” Saskatoon Mayor Charlie Clark said.
The number of council members had dwindled, along with attention spans, to the bare minimum of six required to keep going to the end of the 16-hour, two-day meeting.
Clark acknowledged it was the longest council meeting in his 12 years on council.
