Sword carrying teenager charged with weapon offences

An 18-year-old man has been charged with weapon offences after he was found to be carrying knives and a sword in Saskatoon’s Mayfair neighbourhood.
At roughly 9 p.m. on Monday, police were called to the parking lot of a Fast Food restaurant in the 100 block of 33rd Street West where a male, who was in possession of a large knife, was said to be yelling at people.
When police arrived, they found the man riding a bike and wearing a sword in the intersection of 33rd Street West and Avenue B N
