Sutherland-Kayseas guilty of second-degree murder in shooting of Dylan Phillips
The fatal shooting of a 26-year-old man was not accidental and it was committed by a Terror Squad gang member — but not necessarily on behalf of the gang, a Saskatoon judge ruled.
Justice Shawn Smith, on Friday in Saskatoon Court of Queen’s Bench, found Shaylin Sutherland-Kayseas guilty of second-degree murder in the 2016 death of Dylan Phillips.
