Summer off to hot start in northern Saskatchewan
The first day of summer has brought with it a heat wave for northern Saskatchewan.
On Thursday, Environment Canada issued a heat warning for more than a dozen communities in Saskatchewan’s north, as temperatures are expected to exceed 29 C as the weekend arrives.
Communities under the warning include La Loche, Lloydminster, Prince Albert, the Battlefords and communities in the Melfort area.
