Stolen Auto - Arrest - Ave. I South and 17th Street West

A 48 year old Saskatoon man has been charged following an incident in which the driver of a stolen vehicle refused to stop for police.At approximately 9:00 a.m., August 18, 2018, an officer on patrol noticed a white Chevrolet Equinox being driven at a high rate of speed at Avenue I South and 17th Street West.  The officer was able to identify the vehicle as stolen.  A traffic stop was initiated but the driver refused to stop, instead making a series of turns before abandoning
