SPS Detention Incident - 76 25th St. E

One man was taken to hospital from SPS Detention following an incident last night.At approximately 9:30 p.m., October 22, 2023, Patrol officers arrested a man for public intoxication at 22nd Street West and Avenue U South. While entering into SPS Detention, the man was resistant to officer commands. He was medically assessed and cleared by the paramedic in Detention before being escorted to a cell.
