Soiled rags source of Montgomery Place fire that caused millions in damages

The Saskatoon Fire Department has determined product-covered rags were the cause of a fire that resulted in millions of damages in Saskatoon’s Montgomery Place Neighbourhood over the weekend.
The fire, which took place in the 1200 block of Crescent Boulevard, resulted in an estimated $2 million in damages as three properties were involved in Sunday’s blaze. Two pickup trucks, two storage trailers and a motorhome were also “fully involved” in the fire.
