Smoke could spread to central and southern Saskatchewan as B.C. wildfires continue
The southwest corner of Saskatchewan is under an air quality advisory due to smoke from the wildfires raging in British Columbia.
The Leader, Shaunavon and Swift Current areas are affected, according to Environment Canada. Lloydminster is included in a separate high-risk smoke advisory for central Alberta. The heavy smoke could spread to central and southern Saskatchewan on Wednesday, Environment Canada’s John Paul Cragg said.
