SGI waits on municipalities for ride-sharing proposals

Saskatchewan Government Insurance has asked municipalities for their input on ride-sharing companies like Uber or Lyft, but has yet to hear back from any, a spokeswoman says.
In an email, SGI communications consultant Marie Schultz said the government-owned insurance agency wrote to the cities of Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert on July 20 to seek their thoughts on transportation network companies.
