Severe thunderstorm watch in place for Saskatoon

Environment Canada says conditions are favourable for severe thunderstorms into Monday evening with strong winds, large hail and heavy rain all possible.
With thunderstorms present in central areas of the province, some “may become severe late this afternoon into the evening,” the agency said in a brief.
Residents are advised that hail can damage property, wind can move loose objects, and heavy rain can cause flash flooding. Severe thunderstorms can lead to tornadoes.
