Seven large bottles of booze seized from two alleged bootleggers

During a traffic stop, police caught two alleged bootleggers near Sandy Bay and Pelican Narrows.
Members of the Combined Traffic Services Section stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation around 2 p.m. Tuesday.
During the traffic stop, officers “became aware that the two adult females in the vehicle were known to purchase alcohol, transport it to Pelican Narrows, and re-sell it at an inflated price,” the RCMP said in a news release.
