Saskatoon's weather for Thursday: high of 6 C
A brief respite from cold temperatures is expected for Saskatoon on Thursday as the Environment Canada forecast calls for cloudy skies and a high of 6 C.
Precipitation is still in the forecast though — with the warmer temperature, expect some rain in the evening instead of snow.
The overnight low may hit -2 C but should bounce back to the positive side of zero for Friday.
Saskatoon hit a high of -9.3 on Wednesday, much warmer than the record low of -34.3 set in 1996.
