Saskatoon's trees are dying of thirst

Saskatoon is not experiencing an early fall, despite the yellow leaves visible on trees around the city.
The trees are showing they need help — immediately, says Rick Van Duyvendyk of Dutch Growers Garden Centre.
“It’s drought. It’s drought and stress the trees are under because of the lack of rain here,” Van Duyvendyk says, noting the stress makes them vulnerable.
“Bugs, for instance, really go after trees that are stressed.”
