Saskatoon's first IMAX opens Thursday

Saskatoon’s first IMAX screen will open Thursday, April 26 — earlier than expected, Cineplex has announced.
The first movie will be Avengers: Infinity War.
The screen is located in a renovated auditorium at Scotiabank Theatre and VIP downtown. Earlier plans were to open in May.
“We are pleased to continue our long-standing relationship with Cineplex as we grow the IMAX network and brand across the country,” Mark Welton, president of IMAX Theatres, said in a release.
