Saskatoon Transit mechanic makes $98,000 in overtime

The City of Saskatoon reduced the amount of overtime it paid to employees in 2016, but a transit mechanic bucked that trend in a big way.
Alexander Short, who is currently classified as a mechanical shop supervisor, racked up $98,396 in overtime in 2016, nearly doubling his base salary of $101,602 and earning a spot among the city’s Top 10 earners.
