Saskatoon Transit adds new buses to lower costs

Saskatoon Transit continues to try to reduce the age of its fleet of buses in an effort to save money and improve service.
Jim McDonald, director of Saskatoon Transit, held a media event Tuesday at the City of Saskatoon’s civic operations centre to show off 15 new buses purchased with funding help from the federal government.
“It’s quite striking how much we save by using newer buses,” McDonald told reporters.
