Saskatoon residents can apply for provincial help for August storm

Saskatoon residents whose property was damaged by an early August storm can apply to the province for disaster assistance.
City council endorsed asking the province for financial assistance for the Aug. 8 rainstorm that flooded intersections and some households, mainly on the city’s east side.
The city’s application to the Provincial Disaster Assistance Program (PDAP) was approved by the province, a city news release says.
