Saskatoon police recover stolen RCMP firearm

An RCMP firearm that was stolen earlier in August has been recovered say Saskatoon police.
The firearm, which was reported stolen to city police on Aug. 8, was turned into the Saskatoon police’s Service Centre on Tuesday, according to a news release from the city police.
The service’s guns and gangs unit has been “actively pursuing numerous avenues of investigation and executing a number of search warrants in an effort to locate the firearm.”
