Saskatoon police investigating pair of overnight shootings

Members of the city police service’s guns and gangs unit are investigating after a pair of overnight shootings a few blocks apart.
The first shooting took place Monday around 11:15 p.m. in the 100 block of Avenue I South, with the second taking place Tuesday around 2:30 a.m. in the 600 block of Avenue I South, according to a police news release.
