Saskatoon police constables charged with common assault after November traffic stop

Two Saskatoon police constables have been charged with common assault in connection with a traffic stop last November.
Constables Cailin Link and Angela McDade are now on administrative duties pending the outcome of court proceedings. The two are scheduled to appear June 28 in Saskatoon provincial court.
According to Saskatoon police in a news release, Link and McDade conducted a traffic stop on Nov. 7, 2017, arresting a man for obstructing officers. No one was injured as a result of the arrest,
