Saskatoon mayor wants collaborative relationship with new premier

Saskatoon Mayor Charlie Clark wants to end the idea of a rural-urban divide as he forges a relationship with Saskatchewan’s new premier.
“We have to get over the idea that we have a city versus rural tension or that somehow our success is one or the other,” Clark told reporters Monday. “It has to be both, city and rural together.”
On Saturday, the governing Saskatchewan Party chose Scott Moe to succeed Brad Wall as its leader and premier of the province.
