Saskatoon group home employees serve 48-hour strike notice

Around 75 workers at 12 group homes in Saskatoon are expected to begin “limited job action” Friday morning when a 48-hour strike notice issued earlier this week expires, according to their union. 
The Elmwood Residences Inc. employees have not had a raise in four years despite having gone through two rounds of mediation, Service Employees International Union (SEIU-West) vice-president Neil Coliman said Friday.
