Saskatoon Fire Department responds to house fire on Avenue C north

Saskatoon firefighters were called out to a house in the 800 block of Avenue C North after receiving reports of smoke coming from the homes main floor.
Just after the report was received at 5:20 p.m., three engine companies, an aerial ladder truck and rescue truck were dispatched from three fire stations. When they arrived at the scene, fire crews began fighting the fire from the interior — finding a small fire in the kitchen — and were able to extinguish it within 10 minutes. Damage
