Saskatoon 'dodged a bit of a bullet' through overnight windstorm: Environment Canada

Emergency workers said Saskatoon is “very lucky” after damage from a turbulent windstorm was determined to be minimal.
Deb Davies, acting director of the city’s Emergency Measures Organization, said five incidents involving electrical hazards were reported as a result of downed power lines. About 4,100 households were without power for time periods that ranged from a few minutes to a few hours.
