Saskatoon councillors curtail communications spending

In keeping with what has been a challenging budget year, Saskatoon city councillors have sharply reduced communications spending so far in 2017.
Over the first nine months of the year, councillors claimed less than half of what the previous council claimed in eight months in 2016. The communications allowance was suspended in September 2016 due to the municipal election.
