Saskatoon council set to vote on waste utility user fees Monday

In 2015, Saskatoon city council set an ambitious target to divert 70 per cent of material from the landfill by 2023.
The first big test of council’s commitment to that goal comes Monday when councillors and the mayor decide whether to endorse a raft of changes designed to improve the city’s diversion rate of 22.8 per cent in 2017.
The two biggest changes involve the introduction of user fees based on volume, with different sized garbage carts and a new curbside collection program for
