Saskatoon city council settles on new speed limit for College Drive

In a reversal of a vote last month influenced by concerns that city council was creating a speed trap, council opted on Monday to lower the speed limit on a stretch of College Drive.
Council backed reducing the speed limit to 80 kilometres per hour between McOrmond Road/Drive and a spot 1o0 metres east of Preston Avenue. The stretch from McOrmond to the city limits will remain at 100 km/h.
