Saskatoon Blades name veteran defenceman Evan Fiala their new captain

Evan Fiala leaves Wednesday for the NHL Detroit Red Wings’ main camp and, boy, did the Saskatoon Blades give him quite the send-off.
While unveiling the team’s new third jersey on Tuesday, the Blades named Fiala — a 20-year-old defenceman from Clavet — as the team’s new captain for the upcoming Western Hockey League season.
