Saskatoon Blades exceed win total from last season

The Saskatoon Blades kicked off a four-game road trip with a 3-2 victory Wednesday over the Kootenay Ice in Cranbrook, B.C.
Michael Farren notched the game-winning goal with 3:48 remaining in the third period. Kirby Dach had a goal and two assists for Saskatoon, which led 1-0 and 2-1 by periods.
Nolan Maier made 25 saves in net for the Blades, who picked up their third straight win.
