Saskatoon and area under extreme cold warning

Environment Canada has issued an extreme cold warning for the city of Saskatoon. 
It expects a prolonged period of very cold wind chills, with values near -40 C over much of Saskatchewan today and through Friday.
Alerts are also in effect for much of central Saskatchewan, including Melfort, Humboldt, Lloydminster, Prince Albert, the Battlefords and Yorkton.
