Sask Party to select their next leader on Jan. 27

The Saskatchewan Party will vote on a new leader, who will also be the province’s next premier, on Jan. 27 in Saskatoon, according to a news release.
Brad Wall announced on Aug. 10 he would be stepping down from his roles as premier, Sask Party leader and MLA. He will continue to act in the roles until a new leader is selected.
The leader will be selected through a one-member, one-vote system, the release said. Anyone wishing to vote must purchase a party membership by Dec. 8.
