Sask. Party says 27,125 members eligible to vote for next leader

The five candidates competing to replace Brad Wall as leader of the Saskatchewan Party have signed up 17,625 new party members since the premier announced his intention to step down.
The party said in a news release Monday that it had 9,500 members on Aug. 10, when Wall made his announcement, meaning 27,125 people — more members than it has ever had — will be eligible to vote at its leadership convention next month.
