Sask. Health Authority warns about West Nile risk after two Saskatoon traps catch mosquitoes with virus

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is warning Saskatoon residents about West Nile virus after mosquitoes caught in two traps within city limits were confirmed to be infected with the virus.
The SHA is asking residents in the city and surround area to take precautions to lower their risk, since the positive test results means there is an increased risk of infection. The risk is greatest during dusk and dawn hours when mosquitoes are most active.
