Romanow: Under-appreciated Semillon is worth a second taste

Every year or so, I’m faced with an Australian wine evangelist. They come through telling Saskatoon to “try the Semillon! Use the Semillon! Your life will be infinitely better! Birds will sing and the sun will shine!” The wines come and they go from the wine stores shelves as Saskatchewan remains indifferent to the grape. Which is a shame. 
Semillon is a great grape. Its most famous incarnation is a botrytis infec
