Darcy Robertson’s curling team, a mere stone’s throw away from national Scotties berths in each of the last two years, looks awfully dangerous right now.
Robertson’s Winnipeg-based squad captured the Colonial Square Ladies Curling Classic on Monday, beating Japan’s Sayaka Yoshimura 5-2 in the championship match. It’s the second World Curling Tour victory in three tries for Robertson, who fell short in Oakville — an event won by Yoshimura, as it turns out.
