Road conditions deteriorating around Swift Current, as well as Blaine Lake, Kindersley

Travel was not recommended on Highway 4 south of Swift Current on Friday night, due to slush that was subject to freezing and drifting snow.
The Highway Hotline issued the warning for Highway 4 from the junction with Highway 343, south to the junction with Highway 18, as of 8 p.m. Friday.
At about 9:30 p.m., the Highway Hotline issued an update with a further warning for highways in the Kindersley area. Travel was not recommended Friday night on a number of roads in the area, including Highway 7
