River Rescue

On July 19, 2019, at approximately 10:35 p.m., Saskatoon Police Service Patrol officers, the Police and Crisis Team (PACT), the Saskatoon Fire Department and Medavie Health Services West responded to the report of a female in the river near the University Bridge.Patrol officers initially arrived on scene to observe that there was in fact a female in the river.  The fire department deployed a rescue boat and retrieved the female from the water.Through investigation it is believed that the fe
