Riders clinch playoff berth with 30-7 win over Stampeders

CALGARY — A pick-six by receiver-turned-cornerback Duron Carter helped the Saskatchewan Roughriders defeat the Calgary Stampeders 30-7 on Friday and secure a CFL playoff berth for the first time since 2014.
The Riders (9-7-0) clinched at least a crossover berth into the East Division playoffs.
The Green and White dealt Calgary its first home-field loss in 17 games and snapped a 10-game regular-season losing streak against the Stampeders (13-2-1).
