REVIEW: Serena Ryder's Jazz Fest performance makes the big stage intimate

Serena Ryder dazzled the audience in a performance of music new and old at the Saskatoon Jazz Festival’s main stage on Saturday night. 
Ryder’s performance was unmistakably passionate. Although her voice might not carry the powerful belting edge of many other rock singers, her unique raspy tones and willingness to fly up and down the register makes her a treat to listen to.
