REVIEW: From boredom to terror, it's A Soldier's War

Five young Canadian men go off to war. They’ll be different people when they get back — if they get back.
So goes the new play A Soldier’s War by Saskatoon’s Josh Ramsden, who also acts and directs the independent production.
The story starts in 1944 as Leslie, Harry, Jack, Frank and Walter ride the train from out west to Nova Scotia for training. (The flashes of light and noise by lighting and sound designer Jared Beattie are effective in giving it a railroad feel).
