REVIEW: CCMA Awards broadcast finds balance between professional, down to Earth
Modern country music isn’t for the cynical. The Canadian Country Music Association Awards broadcast Sunday night in Saskatoon was cause for all sorts of warm and fuzzies.
Take the following lyrics sung by Tim Hicks, for example.
“We’re the dreamers, we’re the believers,” he crooned during his on-air performance of the song Forever Rebels.
Then there was Dallas Smith singing “hope you never stop laughing and your sky stays this blue forever.”
