REVIEW: Blind Boys stir the soul at jazz fest

The spirit in the sky descended on a multitude at the Broadway Theater on Saturday, anointing the faithful with soul-stirring songs by The Blind Boys of Alabama.
The powerful vocal group formed in 1939 so it’s a miracle in itself that it’s still a vital touring entity and still releasing albums. The next recording, Almost Home, comes out next month. They’re unstoppable.
