Report suggests taxis close to meeting demand in Saskatoon

Only a tiny percentage of people are left waiting longer than 20 minutes for a standard taxi in Saskatoon, a new city report says.
The report will be considered by city council Monday at the same meeting where council is expected to vote on a new bylaw to accommodate ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft.
City of Saskatoon administration partnered with the Saskatchewan Taxi Cab Association (STCA) to study the market for taxis in Saskatoon from September 2017 to June 2018.
