RCMP investigating after man hit by semi on Highway 4

A 34-year-old man from the Saulteaux First Nation was fatally struck by a semi on Saturday morning.
RCMP were called to the collision on Highway 4 near the Saulteaux First Nation around 3:30 a.m., according to an RCMP news release.
When they arrived, they found the man dead. His name will not be released, RCMP said.
Highway 4 was closed for roughly six hours.
The investigation is ongoing with help from the provincial coroner’s office. RCMP said no charges have been laid.
