Public Advisory Regarding Phone Scam

The Saskatoon Police have received a report of a new phone scam targeting Saskatoon residents. In this particular scam the caller claims that the person being contacted has won a vehicle in a local fundraising lottery.  They will ask, quite convincingly, that a fee be paid to them for delivery of the vehicle when in fact no vehicle has even been won.  If you have been a victim of this type of fraud or any other type of fraud, please file a report online: www.saskatoonpol
